4 de abril: O dia amanheceu frio e chuvoso. A manhã foi passada na escola IIS com atividades para os alunos. Estes foram divididos em grupos e em conjunto construíram e programaram um pequeno robô. Enquanto os alunos trabalhavam nos seus robôs, os professores visitaram os laboratórios de tecnologia, onde tomámos conhecimento de alguns dos projetos desenvolvidos pela escola. Também nos foi feita uma demonstração de jogos digitais educativos criados por um aluno.Depois do almoço, os alunos dos vários países parceiros fizeram um vídeo dizendo frases sobre a importância da leitura nas suas línguas maternas. Às 16 horas, nós, portugueses, apanhámos o comboio com rumo a Roma para passarmos os dois últimos dias na capital italiana. Chegámos a Roma às 18:30 e fomos recebidos com chuva torrencial e trovoada. (Os deuses devem estar loucos!) Amanhã continuaremos a nossa aventura no Rome Cup 2019 e à tarde visitaremos alguns dos locais mais emblemáticos de Roma.
April 4: The day dawned cold and rainy. The morning was spent at the IIS school with activities for students. These were divided into groups and together they built and programmed a small robot.
While the students worked on their robots, the teachers visited the technology labs, where we learned about some of the projects developed by the school. We also had a demonstration of digital educational games created by a student. After lunch, students from various partner countries made a video saying phrases about the importance of reading in their mother tongues. At 4:00 p.m., we, the Portuguese, took the train to Rome to spend the last two days in the Italian capital. We arrived in Rome at 18:30 and were met with torrential rain and thunderstorm. (The gods must be crazy!) Tomorrow we will continue our adventure in the Rome Cup 2019 and in the afternoon we will visit some of the most emblematic places in Rome.
