Primeiro dia | First day

1 de abril: primeiro dia de atividades na escola IIS (Istituto di Istruzione Superiore). Às 8:30 fomos recebidos calorosamente na Aula Patrizia Di Salvatore, um pequeno auditório, onde foram feitas as apresentações dos alunos e professores dos vários países envolvidos no projeto. Os alunos da escola anfitriã apresentaram os seus trabalhos desenvolvidos na área da robótica. De seguida, visitámos os laboratórios de robótica, onde vimos e experimentámos os vários projetos da escola. Depois de uma pausa para café e bolos, cada escola parceira fez a sua apresentação sobre personalidades que se revelaram na área de tecnologia/robótica de cada país. Às 12:30, hora local, a escola anfitriã ofereceu o almoço aos professores e alunos envolvidos no projeto num restaurante. A ementa foi um “rodízio “ de pizzas típicas do país (como não poderia deixar de ser!) De tarde, os alunos fizeram um workshop 3D, onde cada um desenhou uma peça para o robô OTTO DIY, um robô construído em 3D pelos alunos da escola. De seguida, os alunos foram para casa com os seus “irmãos” de acolhimento e os professores regressaram ao hotel.

April 1: First day of activities at the IIS school (Istituto di Istruzione Superiore). At 8:30 we were warmly welcomed in the Aula Patrizia Di Salvatore, a small auditorium, where presentations were made by students and teachers from the various countries involved in the project. The students of the host school presented their developed works in the field of robotics. Then, we visited the robotics laboratories, where we saw and experimented with the various projects of the school. After a break for coffee and cakes, each partner school made its presentation on personalities that were revealed in the technology / robotics area of ​​each country. At 12:30 local time, the host school offered lunch to the teachers and students involved in the project at a restaurant. In the afternoon, the students gave a 3D workshop, where each one designed a piece for the robot OTTO DIY, a robot built in 3D by the students from school. Then the students went home with their host "siblings" and the teachers returned to the hotel.
