Segundo dia | Second day

No segundo dia, da parte da manhã, os professores e os alunos assistiram à apresentação do país, da região e da escola organizadora; à apresentação do sistema escolar finlandês no geral e explicação do funcionamento do ensino secundário na Finlândia; à apresentação das escolas dos países parceiros e das atividades relacionadas com robótica de cada escola: Finlândia, Portugal, Espanha, Turquia e Polónia. Da parte da tarde, visitaram a igreja de Orimattila (sacristia, capela, coro lateral, púlpito, órgão e cemitério das vítimas da 2ª Grande Guerra) e o museu Taidemuseo Kirjasto (exposição de quadros e esculturas).

On the second day, in the morning, the teachers and students attended the presentation of the country, the region and the organizing school; presentation of the Finnish school system in general and explanation of the operation of secondary education in Finland; to the presentation of partner country schools and robotics related activities of each school: Finland, Portugal, Spain, Turkey and Poland. In the afternoon, they visited the church of Orimattila (sacristy, chapel, side choir, pulpit, organ and cemetery of the victims of the Second World War) and the Taidemuseo Kirjasto (exhibition of paintings and sculptures).

Primeiras atividades de aprendizagem | First learning activities

No dia 10 de dezembro, as professoras Inês Madaleno e Salomé Lopes viajaram com 4 alunos para Orimattila - Finlândia. Foram participar nas primeiras atividades de aprendizagem do projeto.

On December 10, the teachers Inês Madaleno and Salomé Lopes traveled with 4 students to Orimattila - Finland. They participated in the first learning activities of the project.

First Lego League Portugal

Numa das sessões do clube, os alunos estiveram a construir os modelos para o concurso.

Terceiro dia | Third day

No dia 9 de novembro, professores das escolas parceiras e alunos da escola turca visitaram locais e monumentos históricos de Istambul, nomeadamente a Mesquita Azul, a Basílica de Santa Sofia e o Museu Cisterna.

On the 9th November, the teachers of the partner schools and the students of the Turkish school visited historic places and monuments of Istanbul, such as the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia and the Cistern Museum.

Segundo dia | Second day

No dia 8 de novembro, os professores observaram aulas de Inglês e de Matemática e conheceram os projetos desenvolvidos pela escola no âmbito da Robótica. Depois do almoço, fizeram uma visita cultural de barco no rio Bósforo e visitaram o Palácio Beylerbeyi.

On the 8th November, the teachers observed some English and Maths lessons and got to know the projects developed by the Turkish school in the Robotics area. After lunch, they made a cultural visit by boat in the river Bosphorus and visited the Beylerbevi Palace.

Primeiro dia | First day

No dia 7 de novembro, os professores chegaram à escola e foram recebidos pelo Diretor da mesma e por alguns professores envolvidos no projeto. De seguida foram feitas as apresentações de cada escola parceira. Durante a tarde, os professores assistiram a aulas de Física e Química e visitaram as instalações das escola.

On the 7th November, the teachers arrived at the Kartal school and were welcome by the Headmaster and by some teachers involved in the project. Then, the school presentations from each partner school were made. During the afternoon, the teachers observed Physics and Chemistry lessons and visited the school facilities.
